the best investment

Hi again,

So, your probably a bit bored again of skincare and you probably know now from our previous posts that preppy guru believes strongly on using the right skincare so now we have decided were going to move onto clothing and on this particular blog, were going to be chatting to you about our favorite pair of jeans! Now, its really hard for us to find jeans that fit perfectly, because you don't want to be walking around all day with baggy jeans, not a good luck....

So quite a while ago now, i invested in some jeans from topshop, +Topshop they are denim but very soft and comfortable, they are quite pricey at £40 however they have lasted me ages and the colour doesn't wear away between washes which is great! So yeah, i definitely advise you to look into topshop if your thinking of buying some new jeans because my topshop jeans were a great investment and one day i will definitely be buying another pair!

Marc Jacobs perfumes review



Dot perfume

I got bought this perfume for Christmas last year and ever since I've worn it every day and been completely in love with it! The smell is indescribably its just perfect.. I recommend this perfume so much I've had so many comments on and people wanting to try it out!The packaging is also so gorgeous but it's hard to put in your bag as its so big so I tend to put it in smaller sample size bottles to carry it round! BUY IT NOW! It smells amazing!





LOLA

I got this perfume 2 years ago and have gone through two bottles of it, it seems to last for ages and the packaging is also amazing! I have gone off this scent for day a bit now as its quite strong and florally (don't even know if that's a word haha) so I tend to wear it at night now.

Daisy

Daisy is a very light floral scent and perfect for day time! It's lovely but not my favourite!

Oh LOLA

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PERFUME EVER. I haven't bought this perfume yet but every time I go into a perfume store or boots I always spray my self with it! It smells fruity and floral and has gorgeous pink bottle, and looks a lot like the LOLA bottle!

CLARISONIC

Just got this amaze new facial cleansing system for the face and body! I've just used this baby and its left my skin feeling better than ever, im using it everyday from now and I'll keep you all updated on the progress next week! Keep your eyes peeled for fresh updates!

a good skincare range always leaves good skin

Hiya! back again with a new post, so i know we've been blogging on and on about skincare but its actually really important if you want great skin! so i recently got a new skincare set from benefit +Benefit Cosmetics for my birthday and i have to say, its great and leaves your skin feeling silky soft! If you want to just try it out as its quite pricey to buy a full big bottle, on +ASOS they sell little taster packs for just £12.50! It includes 'foamingly clean' facial wash, 'refined finish' facial polish, 'moisture prep' toning lotion, 'triple performing' facial emulsion, ''it's potent' eye cream and last but not least 'total moisture' facial cream! So as you can see you get quite a lot in there! The skincare range might not be for you, but you might as well give it a try!

My fave shoes this month

Hey, so we've talked about skincare and our makeup products of the month so its now time for us to talk about our fave clothing item of the month, well i have been scouring the shops of the earth to find the perfect sandals for summer and i was looking on +Urban Outfitters and found the most amazing sandals!
These are them:

The colours contrast beautifully and there are a amazing bargain at just £32 which seems like a lot but these babies will last you all summer! A good investment i'd say!

Lets talk spots..

So lets face it we all go through times when were battling with spots but what people don't know is that there are easy and simple steps to cure them! Here are some tips and tricks i use to keep my skin as healthy and clear as possible..

1. wash your face everyday- this gets rid of the oil on your face, dirt build up and keeps your face super clean

2. Cleanse and tone- Cleansing and toning refreshes and softens skin makingit manageable   and easy to handle

3. Scrub- scrub your face 2-3 times a week, this gets rid of dead skin cells and leaves you with a super soft face.

4. Moisturise- moisturising is an important step and should be done everyday it keeps skin healthy, glowing and soft.

- Another tip is to buy a muslin cloth (there so cheap but so effective) 

Rinse it under boiling hot water and place it over your face and leave it there for a while. The steam from the cloth is so good for your face and makes it feel amazing.

Scrub- Neals yard, Rose or Dermalogica, Clean and clear collection

Moisturiser- Dermalogica, oil free matte

Night cream- Neals yard, Frankincense 

Spot treatment- Witch hazel, boots own brand

Facial mask- Neals yard, white tea mask

Products of the month

TOPSHOP

These are our make up products of the month from topshop. 

The lip crayon-  in coral and is only £7, looks amazing for the day and night and you can always add gloss on top for going out to create a better effect on your lips. 

The bronzer/blush duo-  The topshop bronzers are all amazing but our favourite is desert sun. This is an gorgeous shimmery duo of blush and bronzer. Just remember to tone it down because you dont want your face to shimmer too much. Its also works best on the cheeks as it works as a hilighter aswell. This is also a bargain at just £12.50.

Eye brighten- This is a a brilliant way to hide those under eye circles we all face a battle with in the morning. The colour we have it in is moonlight which is good to cover fair to olive skin. Brighten is only £7.

The other great thing about topshops makeup range is that there packaging has a nice print and looks really nice in your makeup bag.
